How many sessions will I need?
Laser hair removal typically requires a series of 6–9+ treatments, scheduled approximately 4–6 weeks apart.
Who is not a candidate for laser hair removal?
You are not a candidate if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, have open sores in the area, or have taken isotretinoin (Accutane) within the past 6 months.
Do I need to shave before my appointment?
Yes. Please shave the treatment area the morning of your scheduled treatment. For males or those with facial hair, please shave the day before unless instructed otherwise.
I have a history of cold sores, is that a problem?
Please inform us if you have a history of cold sores, as laser light can activate herpes infections. You will need a prescription from your doctor to be taken on the morning of your appointment
What should I avoid before treatment?
You must avoid tanning (sun, tanning beds, or self-tanners) for 2 weeks prior to treatment. Additionally, do not wax, tweeze, or use electrolysis for 4 weeks before and throughout your treatment course. Discontinue use of Retin-A, glycolic acids, and vitamin C products 2 days prior to your session
